… and how we can help you.
I moved to Port Orchard in 2013 with my 21 yr. old son Matthew, who has Autism. I am always in search of information, resources and support and I know if I am searching, then other local Special Needs Families are too. KitsapCountySpecialNeeds.com was born of my frustrations searching for information and being overwhelmed by the sheer volume. Every agency has a website, Facebook, and Twitter, oh my! But digging through all of that and trying to figure out if I was in the right place with the right resource was frustrating.
I have been going through this ever since Matthew was first diagnosed, over 18 years ago.
I hope KitsapCountySpecialNeeds.com will solve this issue for all of us.
This website is the beginning of a dream that has been growing in my soul since the first day the word Autism was uttered in connection with my son Matthew. I want to make this easy for you with a one stop, easy-to-follow website that will guide you to the information you are searching for and help you find the support you need.
